3.2.2.1. Introduction

The environment.xml allow to define the root paths for your project folders.

We remind you that every project folder includes the following four subfolders:

• the instances folder
• the packages folder
• the resources folder
• the sites folder

You have to define the path of the genro project’s folders and the path for the dojo’s contents. Optionally, you can specify the path of your projects (and theirs relative subfolders).

3.2.2.3. <packages>

The <packages> tag allow you to specify the packages you want to import in your project. Once they have been imported, you can use their resources, tables and webpages. (TODO E allora cosa servono le tag instances resources projects... AAARGH!!!)

Example:

<packages>
    <my paths='~/yourRootPathForGenro/.../yourFolderPathOfYourPackages' />
</packages>

where yourRootPathForGenro is your root path of your Genro application.

3.2.2.3.1. standard Genro packages

To import the standard genro packages, please add the following tag in the <packages> tag of the environment.xml:

<genro path="~/yourRootPathForGenro/genro/packages"/>

where yourRootPathForGenro is your root path of your Genro application.

To configure correctly the environment.xml file for the usage of the standard components, you have to add the following tag:

<genro path="$GNRHOME/resources/"/>

So the <resources> tag will be:

    <genro path="$GNRHOME/resources/"/>
</resources>
